Want to read the books offline? Don’t want to have to load each book in the browser? We RECOMMEND moving your books offline, it may offer some additional convenience or a better reading experience.
The process is a bit different, depending on your device. In this tutorial, we will show you how to read EPUB files on all of your devices:
EPUB files can be opened in most e-book readers, including the B&N Nook, Kobo eReader, and Apple’s iBooks app. EPUB files have to be converted before they’re usable on the Amazon Kindle.
EPUB files can also be opened on a computer with several free programs, such as Calibre, Adobe Digital Editions, iBooks, EPUB File Reader, Stanza Desktop, and Okular. Microsoft Edge, the default browser in Windows 10, features out-of-the-box support for reading EPUB files.
Plenty of iPhone and Android apps view EPUB files. There’s even a Firefox Add-on (EPUBReader) and Chrome app (Simple EPUB Reader) that allow you to read EPUB files in the browser just like other documents.
Google Play Books is another place you can open EPUB files by uploading the EPUB file to your Google account and viewing it through the Web client.
IMPORTANT: Please follow these instructions while on your computer (MAC or PC). You will need to use your computer in order to move files to your Apple or Android mobile devices.
Before you can move the books onto your device, you will need to download the actual book files. NOTE: If you purchased the physical “Backup CD”, then downloading is not necessary, you will simply pop your CD/USB into your computer and move on to the next steps.
You can move over an entire Level of books at one time. Let’s say we want to move all Level 1 books first. After logging into your account, on the home dashboard, you will see a graphic that says “Download all Level 1 Books for Offline Reading.” Click this, and download all books.
Once the transfer is complete, you can disconnect your device and start reading.

After downloading, unzip the folder. Next, choose whichever book you would like to read. Double-click on that book’s folder. Once inside the folder, you will see a file called “index”. Double-click this file to read the book. The book will open in a web-browser to read, but you will not be required to be on the internet to do so.
